Croatia: In Trieste, Monty visits a 150-year-old public garden that is being carefully restored. He then heads down the Croatian coast following the Venetians' trail, ending his journey on the beautiful island of Lopud. Along the way he views spectacular natural lakes and wildflowers, tours ancient olive groves, discovers a nursery with over 200 varieties of irises, and gains entry to a monastic garden.
