On 15 April 1989, 15-year-old Kevin Williams was one of 96 fans who lost their lives at a football match at Hillsborough Stadium. Determined to discover the truth of what happened in the disaster, his mother, Anne (Maxine Peake), spent the next 24 years tracking down witnesses, enlisting political support, and campaigning tirelessly for the truth and justice-for Kevin and all the other victims.
