Once a highly regarded teacher, Tony Conroy (Robert Glenister) now works the night shift as a cab driver in Liverpool. Each evening, he listens to a phone-in radio show hosted by Lawrence Brightway (Sean Pertwee), whose views Tony hugely admires. But the validation he gets from Lawrence degenerates into an unhealthy obsession in this drama about the dangerous power of influence.
